Extra tidbits…

The first semester we will cover a variety of time periods in Kansas history, while incorporating geography, economics and current events.  As we progress through the second semester, is the focus on western hemisphere geography and its culture and customs.  While we will be studying locations around the world and learning about a variety of different maps, the focus will remain on the western hemisphere.

We will also be working with some fabulous new technological resources for both students and parents.  Once our wiki is active, I will expect the students to be participating in order to supplement their grades.  Ideally, I will also have created an online resource for parents to participate in our class topics.
