Welcome to 7th Grade Language Arts
with Mrs. Fetters!
My name is Mrs. Fetters and I will be your student’s 7th grade Language Arts teacher this year. This year, more than ever, we are embracing new and exciting things in education. I am so thrilled to be working with your student.
A little about me…my oldest daughter, Averie, will be entering 6th grade at Andover Middle School. It is a delightful experience to be on the other side of education as a parent. Being a mother has truly made me a better teacher. Meredith, my second daughter, will be turning ten in September and will be entering 4th grade. Little Caleb, who just turned five on the 4th of July, keeps me on the move! Like your children, my children are the best thing to happen to me, and no one could have prepared me for the unconditional love and joy that they bring to my life.
I graduated from Circle High School in Towanda, Kansas and then continued on to graduate from Kansas State University. K...S…U…WILDCATS! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Middle-Level Endorsement in English. This fall, I will continue working towards earning my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Fort Hays State University. I have been surrounded by school and education since I was a baby. My father retired a couple years ago after teaching for 33 years in the Circle Unified School District.
This is my fourteenth year teaching in the Andover School District. I am excited to share another school year with your student as my previous years of teaching have been enjoyable and successful. I am extremely proud to be a part of the Andover School District, and more specifically, part of Andover Middle School. GO TROJANS!
Once again, I am looking forward to another wonderful year ahead and clearly see that I could not have found a better administration, staff, community, or group of students to work with. Please feel free to contact me at anytime with concerns, questions, or comments that you may have throughout the year.
